Over the past few days RESCUE K911 has started a collection of supplies to benefit the forgotten victims of Hurricane Harvey – the animals.  The generosity of the public has been unbelievable and they have had drop off points all over Connecticut like The North Haven Police Department in North Haven, Bagelicious Bagels of Cheshire, BeCAUSE 4 Paws in Oxford, PAWS of Greenwich and RALEIGH and CO of Greenwich.

RESCUEK911 needs to raise funds so they can get a transport and get all these donations down to TEXAS ASAP!  They NEED a LARGE truck so they can get ALL of their donations to Texas.  Animals in Texas are in desperate need RIGHT NOW and need these supplies ASAP, so please help donate or share this message so RESCUEK911 can raise the money to start saving LIVES!

“On August 27th we began a collection for all types of goods which may be needed by animal shelters, rescues, and pet owners displaced by Harvey to ensure our animal friends are fed and well taken care of during these troubling times. During the last 3 days we have filled out a double bay garage from front to back, top to bottom, and are glad to say we have reached our capacity! We are currently seeking to raise money to help assist in the cost of obtaining a transport truck to cart all the items to Texas. We have started a GoFundMe Page where we are raising money to help offset these costs. Any help at all would be much appreciated. Thank you.”
