Lift Gate Service $50
Large, heavy orders typically ship by large truck.
Freight carriers offer an optional lift gate service for an additional charge. This means your order will be delivered on a large truck with a lift gate on the back. The driver will use the lift gate to lower your delivery to the ground. Someone needs to be available to sign for the delivery. This is a good option for customers that don't have the time to unload or don't have the ability to unload piece by piece.
Important Note:
We stack our outgoing freight by hand in small packages. The freight is shipped to be unloaded by hand piece by piece (no forklift or equipment needed for unloading).
Most freight companies won't try and use their liftgate if the pallet is 8ft long or longer - the pallet is too long for the width of the liftgate. In this case, customers will need to hand unload their order piece by piece and we can refund the liftgate charge.
If its absolutely necessary that you need to receive the freight and not participate in the unloading process, please instead add the "Hands Free" delivery add on service.
