Most customers choose a 5 foot tall dog fence, which works great for most dogs. So, when would choose something else? If you have an athletic jumper, we recommend our 6 foot fence.
If you have a chewer we recommend our 6 foot MAX strength fence, and if you have a chewer and a jumper we recommend our 7 foot MAX strength fence.
Our MAX strength fences come with an additional steel mesh layer that makes it incredibly difficult for even the most aggressive dogs to chew through
This height works great for some of the most popular medium sized dog breeds like Labrador Retrievers and Golden Retrievers. However, sometimes people have a dog that has more athletic ability than the breed in general. If your dog is a jumper or a climber we strongly suggest you get a 6 foot tall dog fence – especially if you are concerned about other dogs or predators (like coyotes) entering your yard.
When in doubt, choose a 6 foot tall fence. This fence is perfect for medium to large dog breeds like German Shepherds. However, if your dog happens to be a chewer, we would recommend our MAX strength fence.

A corner post is required whenever you create a 90°angle. Our kit comes with enough corner posts for (4) four corners, which is perfect for most customers. However, if you are customizing your layout for a residential or commercial application and have more than four (4) 90°angles you will need to purchase an extra post for every additional corner.
If your layout has more than four 90° angle you will need to purchase an extera corner post for every additional corner
If you are purchasing our dog fence for a dog park or other commercial application then you will be creating a free standing enclosure, which means you will not be using your house to complete 1 side of your fence. However, if you are purchasing our dog fence for your home you typically will use your house to complete 1 side of your fence.
However, If you are purchasing our dog fence for your home you should use your house to complete 1 side of your fenece.
Our kits come with enough corner posts for most layouts. If you are NOT using your house to complete one side of your enclosure or if you have more than four (4) 90° angles you’ll need to order an extra post corner kit.
